looking for extraordinary local
experiences, with the people who
know where to find them.

Problem

When traveling it’s hard to find off-the beaten path & special recommendations that are not paid advertisements. Searching social media has a point of view, but is time-consuming and is not in real-time. Large e-commerce sites feel toursity and broad. 

My Role

My role as a product designer I saw a gap in the travel industry for procurring interesting content that is useful in real-time. My goal was to disrupt how travel content was being showcased to the user and create a new and exciting experience that would engage the user. 

Assumption

Travelers are looking for special curated experiences from locals who share the same likes and interests.

The Bleisure Traveller  – Someone who mixes business with pleasure. Typically are millenials who travel often
for work and will extend a business trip for a long weekend.
